The case is lightweight, corrosion resistant, dent proof,
chip proof, crack proof and water tight up to 30 feet just
in case it ever did happen to go overboard somehow. It will
float because it has an O-ring neoprene lined
tongue-and-groove fitting lid so it always seals perfectly.
This also makes it dust proof and the Automatic Purge Valve
with its GORE-TEX® film equalizes the air pressure but
doesn’t allow moisture to penetrate inside.
The latches are a patented double-throw design combining the
power of a C-clamp with the addition of a pry bar action to
the lid will lock down tight but open easily with merely a
light pull. The hinges and the handle have stainless steel
insert pins to assure a lifetime of use without ever rusting
or becoming stiff.
It is possible to scratch the SE120 Seahorse Case but with
the scratch resistant, durable and strong Polypropylene
construction it’s extremely hard to do so. This remarkable
plastic case can become stained as well but it is highly
stain resistant, chemical resistant and corrosion resistant.
The padlock holes formed into the case allow it to be locked
with any lock you provide, even allowing the case to then be
locked onto to any other secure point.
